One evening, as we sat together – just five friends sharing stories – someone mentioned a letter they had found from their grandmother. A few pages of handwritten memories, filled with humor and tiny details of everyday life that felt like stepping into the past. It was beautiful, but it was also incomplete. There were so many stories that would never be told, moments lost to time simply because no one had ever asked. That thought stayed with us.
We started talking to our own relatives, asking questions we had never thought to ask before. Some of us heard childhood stories for the first time. Others realized their loved ones wanted to share but didn’t know where to begin. That’s when we knew there had to be a better way.
Everyone has a story worth telling, but starting can be the hardest part. Some people feel like they’re not “writers.” Others worry they’ll forget important details. We wanted to change that. We wanted to create something that made storytelling easy, natural, and joyful.
And that’s how Memowrite was born. A simple way to turn memories into something... real. A guided process that removes the fear of a blank page. A lovingly crafted book with gentle prompts, personal photos, and thoughtful editing to ensure every story is told the way it deserves. Because every life is a story.
