If you had told me a year ago that I would write a book about my life, I would have laughed. I never considered myself a "writer."

Yet here I am, holding in my hands a beautifully bound book filled with the stories of my past, my joys and sorrows, my lessons and laughter. 

And it all started with Memowrite.

It was my daughter, Lily, who first planted the idea in my head.

I wrote about my teenage years, filled with dreams and first loves. 

I wrote about the day I met my husband, how he made me laugh even when I didn’t want to, and how he held my hand through the hardest times.

Some days, the words flowed like a river. Other days, they trickled, hesitant and slow. 

There were moments when I smiled, reliving the adventures of youth, and moments when I had to step away, overwhelmed by the weight of loss and love.

The day I gave the book to my family, we sat together, reading and reminiscing. 

Lily teared up when she found the story about her first piano recital, the one where she forgot the notes and I whispered, "Just keep playing." My grandson laughed at the tale of me chasing a runaway dog down the street. 

My heart swelled as I watched them flip through the pages, not just reading but remembering.
